Nathan has been a Pastor at New Springs City Church since March 2009 and previous to that was an elder.
Nathan is a Trustee of New Springs as well as PACE (New Springs’ social community action arm) and brings a number of gifts and talents to the overall ministry. He has been working on staff since October 2006 when he became the head case worker at EnQuire, our debt advice centre and ministry. He studied at Regents Theological College. He is a Judo black belt. He was also the Chaplain at a local judo and rugby club. His main hobby is sport, although he does dabble in photography.
Nathan is passionate about people and has a desire to make Jesus known to all he comes into contact with. He is also the National Director of an evangelistic ministry called ‘The BAM Project’ which equips normal folk to share their story of how Christ has changed their lives. ‘The BAM Project’ is working in collaboration with national Evangelist Mark Greenwood. Nathan is married to Jenny who works at UNITE (student accommodation organisation) in Newcastle and Durham. They have two sons Finley and Reuben.
Nathan and Jenny felt the call of God to move to Sunderland and are leading the New Springs City church.
