Xinhai Lin has recently joined the leadership team and is an Elder at New Springs. He originally comes from China and he first came to the U.K. in 1999 with his family. They settled in Hatfield, Hertfortshire. He went to Loughborough University in 2005 for his first degree and became a Christian in the Loughborough Chinese Christian Fellowship (LCCF) on campus. He joined the New Springs family shortly afterwards and he has been involved in various outreach events and small group activities.
Xinhai and Winnie met whilst going to LCCF and they got married in 2013. Winnie comes from Hong Kong and started studying in the U.K. in 2000 at a boarding school. They now live in Loughborough and they have a daughter, Ivana.
Xinhai is a Senior Teacher in a school at Coalville and Winnie works at Boots as an Assistant Supply Manager. Both lead a mid week City Life Group and they are passionate to see people grow in God. They have a heart for the Chinese students too as a lot of them have never heard of Christ in their own country.
They both enjoy exploring the world and visiting different countries. They are always thankful for the beautiful creation that God has made and love sharing travel stories with others.
